“Where it all began”
My family going back four generations !
Hello and thank each and everyone of you for taking the time to “Visit with me, and my family” as you can see I’ve gone back “Decades ago” as you may have noticed, the “Photo” itself, represents “History”. It’s in “Black and white”, before their were “Colored photos” available to everyone. I had not been born yet
This Photo was taken around 1954. This was my Aunt’s Wedding day, standing to the right of the “Bride”, was my Mother, the Bride’s Sister.My mom and her family came to California , from “Little Rock, Arkansas”.
Moving along, here you can see that the World has “Evolved” this Photo was taken I believe 1972. This particular year the “Reunion” was actually at my Mother’s house.This handsome gentleman, was my Grandfather, next to him was my Grandmother, and from the youngest , to the oldest was all of my Aunts, and Uncles( including my Mom).
Based on the “Clothing”, that everyone wore I’m going to say that it was indeed “Summertime”. By the way these Pictures, were taken in California.
As you may have guessed, everyone came together at my Mom’s house to Celebrate the “Family Reunion” My Uncles ,and Aunts traveled from Arkansas, Chicago, Los Angeles in order to attend the Reunion.yes of course their was lots of food to eat, along with family Story telling, accompanied by lots of “laughter and Love circulating” and children playing.

Ladies and gentlemen, I’m going to bring you into the 1980’s, during this “Era” I had gotten married and as you can see, I was “Blessed” with two Sons. The Oldest is “Donovan , and the Youngest Brandon”. 4years and 1year old.below I’ve included another link, “highlight and open”

Unfortunately as with so very many family members my family had “Lost”, over the years. My youngest Son Brandon, Passed away also on “June 26th, 2012", Brandon was 3 months into his 30th year on this Earth. 😑🙏 “Sleep in Peace”, son
Brandon was at Alameda beach here. He loved to “Swim”
Brandon was on his way to “Church” he had let his hair grow out “Dreadlocks”
I’d like to imagine that Brandon along with all of the many relatives, including, my mom and dad ,older Sister, older brother……are all together in this “Beautiful place” I like to think of as “Heaven” 🙏
